Mutation Detection Kits
Please note: Gene Check no longer sells nitrocellulose based mutation detection kits. Gene Check will provide protocols for investigators wishing to use this mutation detection technique. Gene Check's original mutation detection kits utilized mismatch binding protein (generally E. coli MutS) immobilized to nitrocellulose. This format has been used successfully (references) but has been largely replaced in Gene Check's research and commercial genotyping by the 96 well plate format and the M2B2 (Magnetic Mismatch Binding Bead) format.
Please contact Gene Check if you have questions regarding mutation detection kits or wish to obtain a nitrocellulose-based kit.
